Recent Updates and News

A big thank you to all of the people who supported us this past year. We had our challenges as is common in life. The apples matured latter than normal which delayed markets for all. Then the hail storm that ruined the apples as they were reaching their prime was a big disappointment. We currently are out of apples for the year. We want to wish everyone a happy holiday and a safe winter. We will keep you informed as the new year progresses toward another harvest.

Welcome to Isom’s Fruit Farm! | Idaho Apple Farm | Eastern Idaho's largest
Honey-Crisp Apple Orchard, Located in Blackfoot, Idaho

Welcome! We are glad you stopped by for a visit at our web site.  Let us tell you a little bit about our family-owned Idaho apple orchard and its humble beginning. Our first ever experience raising apples began in the spring of 1994 with the arrival of our mail order trees.  The two narrow long boxes containing 200 bare root whips introduced our young family to the ups and downs and ins and outs of growing apples.  Not realizing how this spontaneous adventure would shape our future, we busied ourselves hand digging two hundred holes in the dirt and tenderly placing the dark and
lifeless looking twigs.

Sixteen years later, 2700 apple trees grace the rich fertile soil next to the beautiful Snake River in South East Idaho. View our beautiful photo gallery to get a glance at our farm and orchard trees. What was once dessert now thrives
as a small farming community with people rooted deeply in family tradition. Thank you for letting us share a touch of
apple country with you during our visit! - Marc and Jeanne Isom
